Jon Sorensen
Jon Sorensen is a strong supporter of new talent. His music tracks are available for use in film and multi-media work. Jon can be contacted through and through www.jonsorensen.co.uk and some of his music tracks can be heard in full on Amazon US. In 2009 he composed the music for 4 feature docs by Dennis Lowe. The ALIEN MAKERS series deals with the making of the original Ridley Scott ALIEN (1979), on which Jon Sorensen began his film career as a visual effects photographer and model-maker. In June of 2009, he made available his album ALIEN 5 as a free download to mark the 30th Anniversary of this landmark movie. Sorensen directed two of his own projects, A RETURN TO LOVE, which he wrote and directed for British television, and his "indie" feature film, the Ken Russell influenced ALIEN BLOOD (2000) which he also wrote and directed. In 2011 he wrote and directed the film BID TIME RETURN shot on location in the Canary Islands. He also composed the soundtrack score. He is to shoot a new film THE FISHERMAN OF FALCON POINT in 2012.
