Final Cut Pro Editor/DVD Author
Company: Lenzflare Ltd. Start Date: 1st September 2008. Job Description: We are a fast growing dynamic Staffordshire company looking for someone to join the team on a permanent basis.
We are looking for a technically minded and talented editor who is able to manage projects from beginning to end, work to tight deadlines and achieve high quality results. You will be working with Final Cut Pro Studio and so experience is essential. The right person needs to a passion for postproduction and demonstrate a willingness to tackle documentaries and corporate films creatively. You will be using your initiative when working alone and have good communication skills.
As part of our team you will also be asked to assist with other duties from time to time as well as carrying out general responsibilities. This would ideally suit someone who is looking for the opportunity to work in a growing and forward thinking company.
Main Duties:
Creative editing of short documentaries and corporate films
Laying tracks and sound mixing
Colour Grading
Encoding final edits using Compressor & BitVice
DVD Authoring in DVD Studio Pro
Requirements:
A good working knowledge of Final Cut Pro Studio 2
An understanding of Photoshop/Illustrator
Full clean driving licence and own transport
Employment subject to full CRB Check.
At least two years experience
Desirable attributes:
Good communication skills and use of own initiative
The ability to produce high quality edits to a deadline
Conceive and deliver creative ideas
Salary: In the region of £20,000 (Salary will be dependant on experience). Closing Date: 8th August 2008.
