Much ado has been made over the upcoming DVD release of The Twlight Saga: New Moon on March 20. Now, according to entertainment website TMZ, much ado is being made over the relese of two Twilight-themed documentaries, released from two rival companies.

Summit Entertainment, which owns the Twilight franchise as well as its' stylized trademark, is planning to release a Twilight-themed documentary to coincide with the DVD release of New Moon in March. Twilight in Forks: The Saga of the Real Town features cover art depicting a forest of moonlit trees. The DVD explores the real town of Forks, Washington, which became the setting for author Stehpaniee Meyer's fictional Twilight characters.

Now, Summit is suing rival Topics Entertainment over Topics' plans to release their own documentary, Forks: Bitten by Twilight. Also an exploration of the Forks area, the Topics DVD features cover art which Summit claims is too similar to the trademarked Twilight artwork. Summit claims that the cover art is deceptive and will hurt sales of their own documentary DVD. Executives at Summit are seeking an injunction and assorted damages.

Spokane Twi-hards can reserve their copy of either documentary through Amazon. Twilight in Forks has a current list price of $12.99 and will be released on March 20; Forks: Bitten by Twilight has a list price of $14.99 and will be released on March 23.
